Elles ont 22, 34, 48 ans et habitent Montréal, Québec ou Ottawa… Ayant récemment quitté la prostitution ces femmes mènent un âpre combat pour se réinsérer dans la société. S’opposant à la tendance actuelle de croire que la prostitution est un métier comme un autre, elles dévoilent la face cachée du « travail du sexe » qui ne relève pas d’un choix éclairé procurant richesse, plaisir et liberté. Filmé avec une caméra de proximité, ce documentaire explore la réalité de ces femmes qui, malgré leur combat parsemé d’embûches, tendent à reprendre le contrôle de leur vie avec lucidité et courage. <1h 33mn>
