File consists of the loose pages from Volume 5 of the Atlas of Topographic Forms. The Atlas consists of eight volumes which were likely assembled around 1939. Each album has a subject which generally corresponds to the subject headings used to categorize the Lantern Slide Collection (see R214-2968-9). The photographs were taken by many different photographers, both Geological Survey of Canada staff and others, including many taken by A.O. Wheeler of the Department of the Interior. The photographs are numbered sequentially starting at one, using Atlas Series numbers. Some photographs are also found in the GSC Negatives series, where they are identified with a different negative number.
