Sound recordings made by Robert Donnell and Gordon Slater of carillon performances - including those of renowned carillonneurs during the second half of the 20th century - at significant North American venues and Guild of Carilloneurs in North America events. The recordings feature four of the Dominion Carillonneurs - Percival Price, Émilien Allard, Robert Donnell and Gordon Slater - other Canadian carilloneurs (e.g. Leland Richardson, Herman Bergink), and notable international performers such as Anton Brees, Staf Nees, Milford Myrhe, Leen 't Hart and Pet van den Broek. Performance venues include the Metropolitan United Church (Toronto), Peace Tower (Ottawa), Soliders' Tower (University of Toronto), Exhibition Place Carillon (Toronto), the Netherlands Centennial Carillon Tower (Victoria) and the Rainbow Tower (Niagara Falls, ON). The recordings contain several compositions and arrangements by Percival Price as well as performances by exam candidates as part of their coursework.
