Series consists of records created and maintained by the Library of the former National Postal Museum. Records include, but are not limited to, brochures, leaflets, catalogues, programmes, auctions, clippings, posters, photographs, labels, covers and collateral material produced by Canadian and foreign philatelic clubs and societies. It also includes material related to activities such as: exhibitions (local, national and international levels), auctions, meetings, the history of the organizations, etc.
The collection is divided into 5 series: Canadian philatelic societies; Canadian philatelic exhibitions; Foreign philatelic societies; Foreign national philatelic exhibitions; and Foreign international philatelic exhibitions.
