Who isn't looking for a bargain these days? I think many consumers may be passing up one of the biggest food bargains that has been around for a long time. Or perhaps some of you have already discovered the secret. The next time you are passing the dairy case in the supermarket notice the price of eggs on display. Consider how much they cost and calculate the cost per egg. Remembering that 2 eggs are equal in protein value to one small serving of meat into he day's menu. Now when you work that out you're getting a lot of protein for probably less than 10 cents a serving. And eggs are so versatile they can be incorporated into any meal be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. For snack time try making some pickled eggs. Here's an idea for those that skip breakfast at your house. Try a liquid breakfast, just add a beaten egg to a glass of orange or tomato juice or milk, it's a good way to get a nutritious start to a busy day.
