Spoke with Ontario's new Premier Kathleen Wynne and offered my congratulations. Chat with Toronto Mayor Rob Ford. Also spoke with MP Greg Kerr and wished him a speedy recovery. Snowy day in Ottawa. Even when you're Prime Minister you have a healthy dose of homework to do every day. Quick working lunch - next meeting starts in 10. Briefing with my House Leader, Minister Peter Van Loan. Presented a book from MP Steven Blaney. Before Question Period I met with Marjory LeBreton, Leader of the Government in the Senate. Chatting with MP Gord Brown. Chatting with MP David MacKenzie. Grabbing a glass of water before Question Period. Walking into the House of Commons for Question Period. Answering the first question. Answering questions in the House of Commons. Chatting with staff following Question Period in the House of Commons. The lobby is always a busy place. Chatting with Minister Peter MacKay. Walking to a photo op with Minister Peter MacKay. Meeting with Devil's Brigade veterans. Meeting with ministers and senior staff. Meeting with senior staff. Packing up to go home. Working late. Headed home in the motorcade. Spoke to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to congratulate him on his win in the recent election. A warm welcome home from Laureen and Charlie on a snowy winter night. Time for a few minutes of writing before calling it a night. Almost done!
