This accession consists of four portrait busts, three in plaster on one bronze, all by Almuth Katharina Lütkenhaus. Each busts is accompanied by a plastic caption. A larger caption provides a biographical sketch of the sculptor and thanks her husband for the donation. Respectively, they depict Dorothy Livesay, Margaret Lawrence, Robertson Davies and Barker Fairley.

Custodial history:

The three plaster busts were given to LAC (then the National Library) by Arthur Lackey in 1997. The bronze bust of Barker Fairley had been donated somewhat earlier. The exact date of acquisition for all four busts in undocumented. The busts were on display at LAC's 395 Wellington location until 2016.
