This series consists of negatives, prints and digital files comprising Andrew Danson's documentary photography work during his career. This series includes his various portraiture projects, including the Unofficial Portraits project, Face Kao, Toronto Portraits and the related Revisit portraits, Jamaica Portraits, portraits of Canadian authors, some early photographs in Toronto's burlesque clubs, a Hospital Portraits project, Newfoundland Portrait project, Chassidic Jews project, and various miscellaneous portraits

Non-portraiture projects include various landscapes shot in Newfoundland, photographs taken on various trips to China, lumber cutting in Stoneville, NL, as well as some of his earliest photographs in Morocco, photographs of Yousuf Karsh photographing McLelland and Stewart authors, photographs taken in various trips to Prague, Berlin and Paris, etc.

Danson began experimenting in the early 1990s with digital photography. This series contains both analogue and digital formats.
