Series contains a small set of biographical records documenting Ken Gass's professional career as well as some personal records. Records document Gass's work as a stage director for various theatre projects outside of Canadian Rep Theatre and Factory Theatre. Records also concern his other activities as a teacher and mentor, a member on theatre festival and events boards, his involvement with the Canadian Playwrights Co-op (Guild of Canadian Playwrights), his various talks and presentations as well as grant requests, honours and awards.

Also found are sound recordings of interviews with Ken Gass in the1970's and early 1980's. He discusses his recollections pertaining to the start of his career in Canadian Theatre.
