Photograph depicts a man and two children outside a model house. The prototype model house was designed by Joe Frances, an Indian Affairs architect, for widespread use on reserves. Boys and girls from Peguis Central Indian Day School were tasked with building the model to demonstrate the simplicity of the construction. Peguis Central Indian Day School (also called Peguis Central Junior High School and Chief Peguis Junior High) was open from 1955 to 1977 and was run by the Anglican church.
