Séance de début de matinée de la deuxième journée de la conférence « 1942 : Conscription, Dieppe et Grand Retournement Militaire ». Cette séance, « Catastrophe à Dieppe », est présidée par Gil Drolet, un historien d'histoire militaire. La séance comprend deux exposés : premièrement « Combat readiness and Leadership in 2nd Canadian Infantry Division before the Dieppe Raid » par Terry Copp, et deuxièmement « On the Beach and in the Bag: The Fate of Dieppe Casualties Left Behind » par Charles Roland. Une période de question avec l'auditoire suit les exposés. La conférence eut lieu les 12 et 13 novembre 1992 au Musée de la civilisation de la Ville de Québec.The early morning session on day two of the conference "1942: Conscription, Dieppe, and the Turning of the Tide." Gil Drolet, a military historian, chairs the session "Catastrophe at Dieppe." The session consists of two lectures, the first by Terry Copp titled "Combat readiness and Leadership in 2nd Canadian Infantry Division before the Dieppe Raid," the second by Charles Roland called "On the Beach and in the Bag: The Fate of Dieppe Casualties Left Behind." A question period with the audience follows the lectures. The conference took place from November 12-13, 1992 at the Musée de la Civilisation in Québec City. <90mn 16s>
