This episode of Talk Radio, a popular election campaign program, sees CPAC join with the phone-in radio program Montreal Today, hosted by Aphrodite Salas, on The New 940 out of Montreal, Que. On this special telecast episode, Canadians can join Salas' broadcast from anywhere in the country, which will give them a chance to talk to each other about political issues. The program begins with Salas talking to CPAC host Peter Van Dusen about some of the topics that will be addressed in the program, including whether or not any of the political parties care about Anglophone Quebec voters; what the big election issues in Quebec are; the importance of the debates beginning that night; and the impact of an accidentally leaked internal memo from the Liberal Party regarding the potential loss of 11 of their Quebec seats. The program continues to calls from all over the country and footage of behind-the-scenes activity during program breaks at the radio station. Several prominent guest callers are featured, including Thierry St-Cyr, the Bloc Quebecois candidate in Jeanne-Le Ber; Liza Frulla, the incumbent MP and Liberal candidate in Jeanne-Le Ber; Andrea Paine, the Conservative candidate in Lac-Saint-Louis; Peter Julian, the NDP candidate in Burnaby-New Westminster; Josée Legault, a columnist with the Montreal Gazette; Don Macpherson, a columnist with the Montreal Gazette; Charles Adler, host of Adler On Line, from CJOB in Winnipeg; and Kirk Lapointe, managing editor of the Pacific Newspaper Group.
