This series consists of news clippings about and featuring statements from Marcel Prud'homme throughout his entire parliamentary career. The news clippings are arranged chronologically by year. There are also some correspondence items to journalists regarding the content of some of the articles.

This series also includes collections of clippings gathered on various subjects of interest: clippings pertaining to his riding and constituents, Palestine, Arab states, the Meech Lake Accord, and the October 1979 Winnipeg Colloquium.

Conservation:

Most of these clippings were pasted into large House of Commons scrapbooks, or put in plastic pockets in binders and arranged chronologically by year. However, since both the newspaper and the scrapbook pages were not acid-free and the scrapbooks or binders did not add any context to the collection, the clippings were photocopied onto acid-free paper for preservation and arranged chronologically into yearly folders.
