This important series consists mainly of correspondence received by Suzanne Jacob. There are also a few photocopies of letters written by her and a few letters that do not appear to have been mailed. This correspondence reflects Suzanne Jacob's relationships with some members of her family, with friends and close friends, with her agent, and with writers and artists from Quebec and abroad. Several letters reveal the strength of the feelings shared by their respective writers and Suzanne Jacob.

This series includes a file for each of the following people: Louise-Marie Barbès, Jean-Yves Collet, Marie Lafleur, Solange Lévesque, Hélène Pedneault, André Romus, Xavière Sénéchal, Céline Tanguay, Jacques Berthelou, Jocelyne Casselo, Jacques Darras, Francine Péotti and Maurice Ségall. The series also contains a large file of letters from readers, including some letters from translators and several Quebec authors.
