This series consists of c. 125 cm. of textual records, including film scripts, film proposals, book drafts and research notes by Bill Mason. It also contains correspondence regarding the making of his films, as well as fan mail, and the numerous awards and nominations Mason received over his career and posthumously. Among the textual records is also an official press kit for the film Waterwalker, information on sales figures for some of his NFB documentaries, as well as promotional material, research notes and a book draft on wolf research and wolves. Aside from his film work the series includes notes and programs for an exhibition of his paintings (c. 1980), as well as examples of Mason's commercial art in use (magazine tear sheets, fliers, brochures and pamphlets).
