This sub-series consists of a miscellaneous collection of railway material, such as postcards, tickets, waybills, train orders, timetables, and photographs. This railway material mostly relates to the predecessor companies of Canadian National Railways.

Vol. 8272 contains, for example, Ticket Books relating to the Intercolonial railway, a Canadian Northern Railway 1000 miles advertising ticket book, train orders for the pilot and royal trains for the 1939 royal tour, 3 postcards of Grand Trunk and Canadian Northern railways, 2 photos of railway bridge construction in western Canada (1908), and 79 photos showing various aspects of bridge reconstruction of the International Bridge between Fort Erie, Ontario and Buffalo, New York.
