Sub-sub-series consists of 1956 Census forms and instructions that were compiled by the Dominion Bureau of Statistics ca. 1970; order RG 31 volume 1311. Note RG31 volume 1311 also includes a file with additional copies of several 1956 Census forms from "Hale." The 1956 Census of Canada - Agriculture form is also found in RG31 volume 1571.

Textual records (Electronic) Finding aid 31-71 is an unverified listing of 1956 Census forms, prepared in 1970 by the Dominion Bureau of Statistics, found in Vol. 1311. This listing consists of form number, title, dimensions, and page count. Asterisks were added by the Bureau indicating the forms that were missing at the time of transfer.
