Collection search - Records of the Aerospace, Marine and Rail Branch [textual record]

Accession consists of records created by the Aerospace, Marine and Rail Branch of the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce (ITC). As an Industry Sector Branch (ISB), the branch reported consecutively to the ADM for Operations, the ADM for Industry Development, and the ADM for Industry and Commerce Development. It was responsible for research and analysis, providing guidance to the Canadian business community, and administering many ITC assistance programs within its industry.

Subjects include the development of quarterly Industry and Trade Notes and the branches involvement in various committees and working groups. These include Project Review Groups, the Aerospace Advisory Group, an interdepartmental working group of the Icebreaker Program, and the Long-range Patrol Aircraft (LRPA) Steering Committee.
