Caption: "N.W.T. / Trader Kurt Lang and his partner Ernie Lacombe examine furs at their post at Aklavik. The light coloured furs are lynx, the fur with the dark patch is wolverine, the best fur for trimming the hood of a parka, as its hairs do not get as readily frosted from breath as other furs."
