Caption: "N.W.T. / Mrs. Jean Nyhus and her small son Dwayne come down to the shore to say good-bye to Dr. Tron Nyhus who is about to take off on a routine flight to Fort Liard and Fort Franklin in his Stinson aircraft. Dr. Nyhus was a pilot in th[e] war. He is attached to the R.C. Mission Hospital at Fort Simpson.
