The series consists of various documents produced or compiled by Alain Stanké throughout his career. The materials include but are not limited to his work as a speaker at special events, conferences and seminars, and book fairs, as a spokesperson for fundraising and promotional campaigns, and as a jury member at different festivals and competitions.

This series also includes documents related to Stanké's involvement throughout his career with several cultural, social and humanitarian organizations and associations in Canada and abroad.

A subseries consists of Stanké's various employment, publishing, production and exhibition contracts.

Two photographic files are devoted to Stanké's participation as an actor in the film Pas de vacances pour nos idoles by Denis Héroux [1965].
