Sub-sub-series consists of maps created and/or maintained by the Glacier Inventory Division of the Inland Waters Directorate of Environment Canada depicting glaciers across Canada.

This collection consists of topographic map coverage based on the National Topographic System (NTS). Most Glacier Inventory maps are annotated with flight lines that correspond to aerial photographs taken of Canadian glaciers and snow and ice masses. Maps are organized with NTS numbers, so it is recommended to use the NTS system to navigate these. The NTS grid Open Maps Data Viewer available online (Canada.ca) is a helpful index to view the NTS distribution across Canada.
