This file consists of various profile segments of the Grand Trunk Railway from Mile 0 at Point St. Charles westward to mile 172.5 at Kingston. The horizontal scale is 5000': 1" and the vertical is 50': 1". The 24 stations along the route are described, along with statistics on passengers and general freight. There are also plan insets of the stations at Point St. Charles, Prescott and Brockville (which were reproduced in 1859 in Blackwell's report for the GTR); a map of the entire Grand Trunk Railway route and a geological map of North America. Accompanying the profile book is the List and Descriptions of Municipalities in the Province of Quebec compiled by C.E. Deschamps which has been transferred to the Library ( FC2904 D4 1886)
