Accession consists of records created or maintained by the Office of the Assistant Deputy Minister (ADM) for Industry and Commerce Development (including its predecessor sectors: Industry Development and Operations) of the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce (ITC). The ADM was responsible for overseeing the Industry Sector Branches (ISBs).

Subjects include general administration and coordination of branches under the ADMs responsibility, high-level correspondence regarding ITC programs, industrial cooperation files with both foreign countries and domestic corporations, as well as numerous committee and liaison files.
