Atlas consists of a bound volume of 76 printed Dominion Electoral District maps (prepared according to the Representation Act, 1947) for Québec that were subsequently hand-annotated with Enumeration Areas by the Dominion Bureau of Statistics for work related to the 1951 Census.

Source of title:

Title is based on the cover pages of the atlases in the sub-sub-series. Note: Equivalent title on cover: "Cartes des districts électoraux du Dominion, loi de la députation, 1947."

Custodial history:

For conservation reasons, the bound atlas originally received from Statistics Canada in 2007 was unbound and its component maps unfolded by Library and Archives Canada.
