This series consists of correspondence between Joe Plaskett and Paul Panton and a collection of material about Plaskett kept by Panton that includes exhibition catalogues, prints, articles by and about Plaskett and clippings from newspapers and magazines.

The correspondence and collection cover the period from 1952-2008, starting from Plaskett's time teaching Vancouver through to his many decades living in Paris and England. Panton met Plaskett as a student and the two formed a strong friendship. Panton carefully kept all correspondence he received from Plaskett.

The correspondence file includes a chronological listing of its contents provided by the donor.
