Item consists of one double-sided poster produced by Polar Knowledge Canada (POLAR) in collaboration with Natural Resources Canada's Atlas of Canada and the British Antarctic Survey.

The bilingual, circular poster features a map of the circumpolar Arctic on one side, and a map of the circumpolar Antarctic on the reverse. The rim of the poster includes "Polar Knowledge Canada," the institution's website address, the Canada 150 logo, and various acknowledgements.

POLAR circulated such posters widely, free of charge.

Source of title:

Title is based on the characterization of the poster in a letter from Polar Knowledge Canada that accompanied the poster.
