This sub-sub-series consists of a selection of photographs chosen by the official photographers that relate to activities or events attended by Stephen Harper as Prime Minister of Canada for the month of March 2014.

Over this month, numerous photographs capture Stephen Harper's preoccupation with the situation in Ukraine. This includes an emergency cabinet meeting (March 1st), phone calls with foreign leaders (March 3 and 7), a meeting with Vadym Prystaiko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Canada (17 March), as well as the announcement of new economic sanctions (17 March). It culminates with photographs of Stephen Harper's trip to the Ukraine, where he meets with Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, and Oleksandr Turchynov, Acting President of Ukraine (March 22).

In addition, this sub-sub-series shows Stephen Harper's official visit to the Netherlands (March 23-24), his attendance at the Nuclear Security Summit in The Hague, (March 24-25) and his official visit to Germany (March 26-28). During this part of his trip, the prime minister has meetings with Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands (March 23), His Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands (March 24) and Angela Merkel, Chancellor of Germany (March 27).

The photographs also document Stephen Harper's trip to Seoul, South Korea where he meets with Korean President Park Geun-hye to conclude negotiations on a Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement (March 10-11).

The sub-sub-series shows Stephen Harper in Ottawa greeting members of the Canadian Armed Forces returning from Afghanistan (March 18) and attending a ceremony at Rideau Hall, where Minister Joe Oliver is sworn in as the new Finance Minister (March 19).
