Video recording of Radio Canada's "West Side Stories" feature on English speaking artists in Montreal. Interviews with English speaking artists, vox pop with French Canadian Montrealers. Interviewees include author Josh Freed; musicians Bran Van 2000, James Disalvio; actor Joe Cobden, author Trevor Ferguson, artistic director Guy Sprung, journalist and writer Joel Yanovski, singer and songwriter Rufus Wainright, musician Melissa Auf Der Mar; author Catherine Kidd, artistic director Bill Glassco;. Topics pertain to the place of English speaking artists in Montreal over the years and relationship with the City and the French-speaking population. Part the feature presents Trevor Ferguson. Ferguson reads excerpts from one his novels (Onyx John) and explains his views on writing, his challenges has an English speaking writer in Montreal, the place of Anglophones in Montreal.
