Subjects photographed include an army and air force senior commanders conference, personnel and equipment, destroyed enemy equipment and damaged French towns and villages, civilians, the visit of a Russian military mission, the duties of a military padre, soldier's leave activities at short leave and rest camps, a performance for the troops by the "Invasion Revue" stage show, a major petrol dump fire, Canadian nurses in Caen, Royal Canadian Engineers erecting or repairing a Bailey Bridge, a demonstration of the Wasp Flamethrower carrier.
