Western Canadian Underwriters¿ Association : In 1917, the Charles E. Goad Company slowly withdrew from work in Canada. In 1931 responsibility for the publication of Fire Insurance Plans was bought by the Western Canadian Underwriters' Association, which continued to publish Fire Insurance Plans in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta until 1960, when it merged with the Underwriter's Survey Limited and the British Columbia Underwriters' Association to form the Canadian Underwriters' Association.
