This accession consists of air carrier operations regulation files. The records in this accession cover air carriers across the country, including Jazz and Air Canada. A file is opened for each air carrier to store all records related to the oversight of their regulatory requirements. These files largely consist of inspection reports, copies of carriers' operational manuals, reviews of these manuals by Transport Canada staff, audits of the carrier, and communications between Transport Canada headquarters and regional offices or between the department and the air carrier. The records in this accession relate to: the continued airworthiness of the carrier's aircraft(s); the certification of pilots, dispatchers, and flight attendants; and the carriers' operational policies and procedures regarding, for example, cabin security, occupational health and safety, and the transportation of dangerous goods.
