This series of maps, part of the Directorate of Heritage and History (DHH) map collection, is Series D "Kardex Collection." It consists of maps, map overlays, and other cartographic material (items #1399-1766), drawn from Kardex files: 340.003, Halifax and surrounding district to support the Defence Scheme, 1901; Second World War maps such as a War Map, 4th Canadian Armoured Division; 593.004, maps of the 1941 Hong Kong Defences; and German Situation Reports filed under 981.A7, A10, A15, CN, CSW, CW, D716, HC, NA.
