This is a preliminary description; please see the attached accession record. Sub-sub-series consists of executive records from the National Research Council (NRC) on a wide range of subjects. Sub-sub-series consists of records records were maintained in the office of the: President (in boxes 1-199, 425-431), Vice-president Life Sciences (in boxes 200-291, 431-436), Vice-president Technology and Industry Support (in boxes 292-338, 373-424, 436), Vice-president Frontier Science (in boxes 340-355, 436), Vice-president Engineering (in boxes 356-358), Vice-president Administration (in boxes 358-367), and Vice-president Corporate Management & Chief Financial Officer (in boxes 367). Sub--sub-series also consists of a handful of records pertaining to the Year 2000 and to internal audit were maintained separately (see boxes 339, 367).
