General note:

This file contains architectural and design drawings of the Kaleidoscope pavilion which was designed and built for Expo 67. This structure was intended as a temporary Canadian industrial-sponsored structure located in Expo Area: Ile Notre-Dame. The pavilion was a cruciform shape which was surrounded by a circular ring of verticle coloured fins. The interior contained an entrance and exit hall and three exhibition areas.The owners/contracting bodies were Excolor Incorporated (Canadian Industries Ltd., Chemcel (1963) Ltd., Cyanmid of Canada Ltd., Dow Chemical of Canada Ltd., Shawinigan Chemicals Ltd., and Union Carbide Canada Ltd. The design architects were Robert S. Frew, University of Waterloo (Designer), Morley Markson & Assoc., Toronto (Project Designer), and Irving Grossman, Toronto (Architect). Project Type: National and Private Participants = Participants nationaux et privés.
