General note:

This file contains architectural and design drawings of the India pavilion which was designed and built for Expo 67. This structure was intended as a temporary foreign government-sponsored structure located in Expo Area: Ile Notre-Dame. The pavilion consisted of a tall triangular tower replicating a giant sun-dial, a two-story exhibition block, a restaurant, an exhibition display link joining the exhibition and restaurant areas, and a reflecting pool. The owner/contracting body was the Government of India. The design architect was M. M. Rona, DI, New Delhi, India; the local associate architect was Marshall, Merrett, Stahl, Elliott & Mill, Montreal. Project Type: National and Private Participants = Participants nationaux et privés.
