This file contains architectural and design drawings of Habitat 67 which was designed and built for Expo 67. This was a Canadian government sponsored project intended as a permanent structure located in Expo Area: Cité du Havre. It consisted of 354 concrete boxes arranged on pile foundations to form an elongated pyramid-type apartment structure of 158 houses. It was intended to be an integrated urban community showing how a downtown environment could accomadate family living. The contracting body of this strucutre was the Canadian Corporation for the 1967 World Exhibition. The design architects were Moshe Safdie and David Barott & Boulva, Montreal. Project Type: C.C.W.E.
