Accession consists of records created and maintained by the Security and Emergency Planning area at Transport Canada headquarters. The accession consists of briefing notes, meeting minutes, policy records, and correspondence of Transport Canada senior management, including records covering the following subjects: communication with other government departments (e.g. Canadian Security Intelligence Service and Citizen and Immigration Canada), international organizations (e.g. Group of Eight, NATO and ICAO), legislation concerning air and marine security, the Canadian Air Transportation Security Authority (CATSA), counter terrorism plans, airport security regulation and monitoring, and disaster mitigation.
