The records in this sub-series are subject files which Warren Allmand maintained along with his Ministry files. They are not ministry-related, but were created during the time that he held the Ministry of Corporate and Consumer Affairs. Most of them deal with significant matters including the constitution, and national unity. There are also records regarding the founding of the Liaison Committee of Groups (in Quebec) to co-ordinate the plethora of organizations rising to work for national unity, Allmand's public relations activities (press, radio and TV interviews), statements on national unity, material on the constitutional question, and records regarding the Protestant School Board of Montreal and language of instruction.
