Collection search - Settlement on Saint Croix Island [cartographic document]

De Monts, Champlain and their crew lived through a disastrous winter on the island in 1604-1605. The colony was moved to Port Royal the following summer.
Present-day Saint Croix Island [Dochet Island], Maine.
The map appears on page 38 of Les voyages de 1613 de Samuel de Champlain, a copy of which is held by Library and Archives Canada (Amicus 4700723).
