File consists of individual case file. Client (Whitfield) was a blind concert violinist and British National Institute for the Blind official well known to senior CNIB staff. In 1940, Whitfield and his family were visiting France when the country was overrun by Nazi Germany. CNIB staff worked with counterparts in the United States to help finance the Whitfield family's escape.
