This accession consists of the ministerial correspondence of the Hon. Monique Landry who served as Secretary of State of Canada and Minister of Communications from June 25 until November 3, 1993. Following a restructuring plan of government on June 25, 1993, Landry acted as a deputy minister in the newly created Canadian Heritage portfolio whose new responsibilities included parks and historic sites. Files include letters to the minister from organizations, officials with responses from the minister's office, memorandums and signed authorizations. Also included are ministerial correspondence of the Hon. Pierre H. Vincent who, in his role as Minister of the Environment, had been previously responsible for the Canadian Parks Service and the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada.

The Parks Canada Executive Correspondence Office maintained these files.

These files were created in the Office of the Minister then transferred to Parks Canada Agency.
