This series contains records created and kept by James Kraemer related to his activities in the creation and presidency of the RPSC Philatelic Research Foundation, created as a charitable non-profit organization. The foundation acted as a separate research wing to the Royal Philatelic Society of Canada with an emphasis on scholarship, publishing and public outreach. The records in this series reflect the research of members of the foundation, particularly on paper and plastics as related to philately. Coordination of content, financing and distribution of the foundation's most important publication, "Opusculum 1 : an anthology of philatelic and historical papers" receives particularly thorough coverage in Kraemer's records.
