This sub-series consists of records related to John's later career, when he returned from Korea and began teaching at Mount Allison University, which includes correspondence, lecture notes, information about his position, a scrapbook, and speeches. This sub-series also contains records related to his position with the Staff Development Branch and his retirement from the public service in 1984. Furthermore, this sub-series contains records from the Canada-Korea Society, which John helped establish in 1984 with the Korean Embassy to help promote a better understanding between the two countries. Finally, this sub-series contains the beginnings of a memoir and anecdotes written by John. This includes his memoirs of his service during the Second World War.
