In 1990 the London Militia District comprised the following units which were based throughout south-westetern Ontario: Headquarters (London); 1st Hussars (London); 4th Battalion, Royal Canadian Regiment [London and Oxford Fusiliers] (London); 22 [London] Service Battalion (London); Windsor Regiment, RCAC (Windsor); Essex and Kent Scottish (Windsor); 21 [Windsor] Service Battalion (Windsor); 56th Field Artillery Regiment, RCA (Brantford), Highland Fusiliers of Canada (Cambridge); Grey and Simcoe Forresters (Owen Sound); and the Elgin Regiment (St Thomas). The records are arranged according to the National Defence/Canadian Forces classification system. They relate to visits as well as operations, exercises and manoeuvres.
