Title based on the following caption from the NFB Photo Story: In photo at right, Eskimos stretch nylon gill net across the mouth of a small stream near Port Burwell on Ungava Bay. Catch is loaded aboard motor boats and sped to Port Burwell fishery where, last August, 18,600 pounds of choice-flavoured char filled the freezers to capacity. Here it is cleaned, flash-frozen, and loaded aboard refrigerated ships for transport to southern markets. Biological studies ascertain the quantity of char that may be taken without depleting fishing grounds.
