Making ready for the 30 mile dash to Coppermine - the last sledge trip of the season, Basil Bay, Coronation Gulf, 30 May, 1931. 6028-1931-R.S.F. It's comforting to travel with a boat on the sled when the ice is beginning to disintegrate, Coronation Gulf, 30 May, 1931. 6029-1931-R.S.F. For thirty miles from Basil Bay to Coppermine, they waded through water from two to six inches in depth, that flooded the sea ice, Coronation Gulf. 29 May, 1931.
