This series consists of records of the Annual General Meeting and annual conference of the Canadian Historical Association (CHA). While the AGM is the governing body of the CHA, the annual conference provides members an opportunity to showcase their research and discuss issues relating to the discipline. This annual three-day conference is held in conjunction with the Congress of the Humanities and Social Sciences (previously named the Learned Societies). Though the AGM and the conference are technically separate activities, they result from combined planning and organization by the CHA. The series includes the minutes of the Annual General Meeting, agendas, correspondence, reports, memorandums, draft and published conference programmes, records of the Programme Committee and Chair, lists of papers, photographs of conference, visitors' register, registration list, agreements, conference papers, published reports of the annual meeting, and historical papers.
