The series consists of records relating to John Ralston Saul's book, Reflections of a Siamese Twin: Canada at the End of the Twentieth Century, first published in 1997. The sub-series holds successive drafts of the manuscript (usually identified in sequence), and the galley proofs of the French edition. There is also promotional material for the book including cover designs, advertisements, book tour itineraries, jacket copy, catalogue entries, and published excerpts and interviews with Saul. Its public reception is documented in articles about Saul and the book, reviews, and comments in reader and fan mail. Some of the Canadian reviewers and authors of articles included Peter C.
