This sub-series consists of administrative and operational files maintained by Madame Wilson in her capacity as Chair on the Canadian Bar Association's Task Force on Gender Equality. The records in this series document the activities undertaken by the Task Force in order to produce their final report. This includes consultations, focus groups, meetings, and draft reports. It also demonstrates the difficulties that the Task Force dealt with, especially in relation to the lack of funding they initially received. The records provide evidence of the financial issues that plagued the Task Force, but also the perseverance of those who believed in the creation of this significant report. The types of records include correspondence, reports, notes, press clippings, and speeches.

The videocassette in this sub-series is a recording of a speech Madame Wilson was supposed to give to the Ontario Bar Association. Due to scheduling conflicts she could not be at the event, therefore she had her speech taped beforehand and it was to be played at the event in her absence. In this speech, Wilson is pleading for financial backing for the task force as she believed it was of utmost importance that it be completed.
